We have six beautiful pubs scattered in London, Surrey & Kent. We are far more than just a pub though in all our venues, it's something we have focused the past 10 years of development on. So, come & have a look...
Lets start at the beginning of our journey, 2007 with The Wiremill, our stunning 15th Century mill set on it's own 26 acre lake. The Mill is cosy in winter & stunningly beautiful in the summer months. A short drive down our track from the A21 between East Grinstead (West Sussex) & Lingfield (Surrey) you will find yourself winding down the lane & then coming across the mill. With six boutique guest bedrooms, dinning for 100 guest inside & a further 200 on the outside terrace it's quite a place.
The in 2009 we moved across the country to Kent. The Grove Ferry Inn is a special 18th Century mansion sat on the banks of the Great Stour River & opposite the natural wet lands of the Stodmarsh Nature Reserve, a World heritage site. Boasting the riverside decking, a riverside bar, taproom & the boat house function room, as well as six guest bedrooms & Ellen Marie our electric passenger boat there is plenty to keep you occupied day & night.
In 2011 we decided to take our approach of countryside dining & hospitality into London. We opened The Somers Town Coffee House in November 2011 & have given the folk of Euston & St Pancras a fantastic London pub to be proud of. In 2012 we developed the upstairs rooms to create Ssshh, our hidden meeting & dining rooms & with their success a year later we developed Cosy Kettle, our speakeasy cocktail club in the basement. With 12 real ales on tap, one craft cider, a huge range of craft bottled & packaged beers, wines & spirits we have one of the best selections to be found in London. Match that to our British Tapas dishes from Jason's kitchen & you have a very exciting pub to visit!
In 2012 we ventured south & found a lovely little boozer in Tooting, The Gorringe Park. Having been neglected from development for sometime, we invested heavily in the building, creating a boutique cinema in the basement, library & alchemy meeting & dinning rooms on the first floor & totally transforming the pub on the ground floor. A great London local as we call it, The Gorringe has become the favorite for a huge number of our local residents in Tooting.
In 2014 he went East & took The Victoria in Mile End into the collection. Formerly a live music venue with a host of problems with the local residents we took the Vic to what we do best; great fresh food, honest hospitality & a sense of fun. We again invested heavily in the pub, transforming the basement to Magris, a speakeasy with mirrored one way glass, a sun room extension & private meeting & dining rooms on the 1st floor including a dining room, open kitchen room & the lodge room. With a huge outdoor garden, Charlies cocktail caravan & our lazy pods, it's a fab summer escape.
Our last, but by no means least adventure so far is The Stoke Newington Tea House. Opened in December 2015 The Tea House is a real gem. With our tea school meeting & dining room on the first floor, our cavern wine bar in the basement & over 100 different types of teas on the ground floor, with a craft beer wall, hidden garden & rooftop terrace there is plenty to keep you coming back time & time again.
